We went for a ‘wellie boot walk’ yesterday to test out my new purchase and what a day for it! We often take the dog in the new forest and the old airfield is an easy walk especially for a toddler in wellies as it is concrete from the war making for good puddles.
We thought we had timed it right until the last 5 minutes the heavens opened, jellybean was nicely snug and sheltered in my coat, alright for some.
Best thing about getting soaked is getting home, change of clothes, nice hot chocolate with orange and gingernut biscuits, yummy.
